Anxiety, Stress & Panic Attacks
Stress is your brain's short term response to external pressures and immediate demands.
Left unmanaged, it can tip into anxiety - and for some, into panic attacks, driven by your brain's threat response rather than real danger.
I will help you understand your own stress and anxiety patterns and build practical tools through hypnotherapy to feel more in control.

Depression & Low Mood
Through talking therapy and hypnosis, informed by how your brain's systems influence thoughts and feelings, we work at a pace that feels right for you - building self-belief and breaking the negative cycle that keeps low mood in place.

Grief
Grief isn't always about losing someone close - it can be a relationship, a pet, a career or a future that has changed.
If it mattered to you, it is real.
Most of the time, grief softens with time. We start looking forward to things again. We don't stop loving what we lost — we just find room to live alongside it.
Hypnotherapy can help you carry it differently, gently and at your own pace.
You don't have to do this alone.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
PTSD develops when the brain and nervous system stay in survival mode after a distressing experience.
My work focuses on helping your nervous system feel safe again - without needing to relive what has happened - so you can move from survival mode back into recovery.
School Anxiety
When anxiety builds, a young person's brain moves into protection mode - making school and exams feel threatening.
School anxiety can show up as stomach aches, headaches, sleep problems, emotional outbursts, panic, or a strong reluctance to go into school, and it often builds gradually over time.
Using a gentle, neuroscience-informed approach, we build emotional regulation, confidence and a stronger sense of safety and choice.
The NCH articulates this, stating that hypnotherapy “unlocks the potential you have to break free of negative thought patterns, and to react more positively and more confidently to situations in your life that may have previously made you anxious.”
Sleep Issues & Insomnia
Sleep problems are often linked to a brain stuck in protection mode.
By understanding what is happening at bedtime and working with your natural circadian rhythm, we build calming routines that support melatonin, reduce cortisol and help your brain recognise it is time to rest.
Together, we work on easing stress, quietening the mind, and creating a stronger sense of safety and control around sleep.
Through guided relaxation, visualisation, and practical tools, we replace unhelpful sleep habits with calming routines and supportive thought patterns. This helps improve sleep quality, reduce night-time waking, and support deeper, more refreshing rest over time.
Fears & Phobias
Fears and Phobias are learned responses your brain to keep you safe.
Solution focused hypnotherapy helps retrain the brain to respond more calmly and confidently to the situations that currently feel frightening. Rather than simply pushing through fear, we work with the nervous system to reduce threat responses and build a stronger sense of safety and control.
There are two main types of phobias:
Simple phobias
These usually relate to specific objects or situations, such as animals (spiders, dogs, insects), bodily fears (vomit, blood, injections), or environmental fears (heights, flying, enclosed spaces). Simple phobias are often resolved in around 3 to 4 sessions.
Complex phobias
These are more closely linked to ongoing anxiety and life situations, such as social anxiety or driving anxiety. Complex phobias usually take around 6 to 8 sessions, although some people may need more support depending on their experience and goals.
