Brain & Wellbeing Workshop for Teachers
This interactive 90-minute workshop is designed to support teachers’ mental wellbeing and provide practical, science-based strategies they can use both personally and in the classroom.
At the heart of the session is The Brain in Balance — a clear, accessible explanation of how the brain responds to stress, pressure and emotional overload, and how these natural responses influence mood, focus, resilience and behaviour. Teachers learn simple, effective ways to shift the brain into a calmer, more resourceful state, both for themselves and their students.
The workshop also includes:
- A guided meditation helping staff experience deep calm and giving them a practical tool they can continue to use to support their own wellbeing
- Q&A session to discuss challenges, strategies, and how to embed learning into everyday school life
- Downloadable relaxation MP3 for use anytime they need to reset
- PDF of The Brain in Balance, summarising key concepts for easy reference
This session is informative, uplifting, and immediately applicable, giving teachers tools to support both their own wellbeing and that of their students.
