Grief

Are you experiencing Grief?

Perhaps you’ve lost someone close to you, or have experienced a life change which represents a significant loss.

Grief is a part of life, and working through any of the feelings which accompany loss is completely natural.

Over time, we usually find that our experience of grief lessens, as we begin to look forward to some of the things we looked forward to before we experienced our loss.

Whilst grief fundamentally changes us, and whilst we may always grieve for a loved one, we begin to live lives which are fulfilling and meaningful once more.  But, sometimes, even with the passing of time, it can be hard to move forwards and our grief continues to overwhelm us and keeps us back from living our fullest lives. Sometimes, we need help and support in moving forwards.

Hypnotherapy can help you whatever stage of grief you are at, and whatever you are grieving for. Grief doesn’t only refer to bereavement. It refers to any loss which is meaningful and which is hard to cope with, from the loss of a beloved pet, to the end of a relationship, to “empty nest” syndrome, loss of health or the end of a career. If you’ve been through any of these, and other, experiences and are finding it difficult to deal with your loss, you may benefit from hypnotherapy.

Hypnotherapy can help you come to terms with your grief in a way, and at a pace, which is right for you. You can share as much information with me as feels right, and you’ll be guided through a healing process which focuses on making sense of your experience and finding ways to move forwards with your life.

Hypnotherapy is a powerful, yet gentle, approach to grief work which is about acknowledging the place of your loss in your life, whilst encouraging healing to take place.
